Tranylcypromine tablets contain the active substance tranylcypromine sulfate which belongs to a group of antidepressant medicines known as monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). This medicine is used to treat major depressive episodes in adult patients when treatment with other types of antidepressant medication has failed.
